Repco also provides contact refurbishing services for control equipment.  This procedure is limited to silver-tipped contacts and is cost effective for larger sizes.  This can only be done if the backing is undamaged.  Re-tipping involves the removal of the exhausted pad, the cleaning of the contact base and the brazing of new tips onto the backing.
